At Acorn Mobile, we believe artificial intelligence should serve you, not surveil you. In an era where most AI companies harvest your conversations, train on your thoughts, and monetize your data, we chose a radically different path.

**We built Acorn Mobile to prove that powerful AI and absolute privacy can coexist.**

This isn't marketing. It's our founding principle. It's why we exist.

What Makes Acorn Different

**Local-First Architecture**

Your device runs Zeus, a fully capable AI that lives entirely on your iPhone or iPad. When you use Zeus:

- Your conversations never leave your device

- No internet connection required

- No servers involved

- No data transmitted anywhere

- Complete privacy by design, not by policy

This is the gold standard of AI privacy. No other major AI platform offers this.

**Cloud AI with Zero Retention**

When you choose to use our cloud-powered AIs (Venus, Minerva, or Vulcan through Acorn Loop), your queries are processed through Mistral AI's infrastructure with the following guarantees:

- Conversations are processed in real-time and immediately discarded

- No conversation logs are stored on any server

- No training on your data, ever

- No user profiles built from your queries

- Encrypted transmission using industry-standard TLS 1.3

Data We Collect

**Account and Subscription Data**

To process your Acorn Loop subscription, Apple handles all payment information through their secure App Store infrastructure. We receive only:

- A transaction identifier confirming your subscription status

- Your subscription tier (Venus, Minerva, or Vulcan)

- Subscription start and renewal dates

We do not receive your name, email, payment method, or any personal identifiers from Apple.

**On-Device Data**

The following data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted:

- Your profile information (name, occupation, goals)

- Conversation history (Stream History)

- Saved brainstorms

- Working documents

- Preferences and settings

This data exists solely on your device. If you delete the app, this data is permanently erased. We cannot access it, recover it, or read it.

**Analytics**

We do not use third-party analytics services. We do not track your usage patterns. We do not collect crash reports that contain conversation content. We do not know what you ask your AI.

Data We Never Collect

- Your conversations with Zeus or Venus (local AI)

- The content of your cloud AI queries

- Your location

- Your contacts

- Your photos

- Your browsing history

- Biometric data

- Device identifiers for advertising

- Any data for sale to third parties

How We Use Your Data

**Subscription data** is used exclusively to:

- Verify your subscription status

- Provide access to your selected AI tier

- Track token usage within your billing cycle

That's it. Nothing else.

We do not use:

- Google Analytics

- Facebook SDK

- Advertising networks

- Data brokers

- Any service that monetizes user data

Your Rights

**Access and Portability**

All your data is already in your possession on your device. You can view your profile, conversation history, and preferences directly in the app.

**Deletion**

Delete the app to permanently erase all local data. To cancel your subscription, use Apple's subscription management in Settings.

**GDPR Compliance (European Users)**

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your data. Since we don't store your data on our servers, these rights are automatically fulfilled. Your data is yours.

**CCPA Compliance (California Users)**

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know, delete, and opt-out. Since we collect minimal data and store nothing on our servers, these rights are inherently protected.

Children's Privacy

Acorn Mobile is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

- All cloud communications encrypted with TLS 1.3

- Local data protected by iOS/iPadOS device encryption

- No central database of user conversations to breach

- No honeypot of personal data for hackers to target

The most secure data is data that doesn't exist on a server. That's our approach.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

Terms of Use for Acorn Mobile

**Acorn Mobile by Elegant Intelligence LLC**

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Acorn Mobile, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Acorn Mobile is a personal AI assistant application that provides:

- **Zeus**: A local AI that runs entirely on your device

- **Acorn Loop**: Optional cloud-powered AI services (Venus, Minerva, Vulcan) available through paid subscription

The local AI requires no internet connection and no subscription. Cloud AI services require an active Acorn Loop subscription and internet connectivity.

Subscriptions and Billing

Acorn Loop Subscription Tiers

- **Venus**: $10 per month - 3 billion parameter cloud AI

- **Minerva**: $20 per month - 8 billion parameter cloud AI

- **Vulcan**: $30 per month - 14 billion parameter cloud AI

- **Kronos**: $40 per month - 22 billion parameter cloud AI

All tiers include 10 million tokens per month.

Billing

- Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID

- Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase

- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple/Android/Windows ID settings (Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Free Trial

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon subscription purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Acorn Mobile to:

- Generate illegal content

- Create content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors

- Produce malware, viruses, or malicious code

- Generate spam or deceptive content

- Impersonate others for fraudulent purposes

- Violate intellectual property rights

- Harass, threaten, or harm others

- Circumvent security measures or access restrictions

We reserve the right to terminate access for violations of these terms.

AI Limitations and Disclaimer

Accuracy

AI systems, including those in Acorn Mobile, can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. AI outputs should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for:

- Medical, legal, or financial decisions

- Safety-critical applications

- Factual claims requiring verification

Always verify important information through authoritative sources.

Not Professional Advice

Acorn Mobile does not provide professional medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. AI responses are for informational and entertainment purposes only. Consult qualified professionals for matters requiring expertise.

Content Generation

You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content. Review all outputs before use. We are not liable for consequences arising from your use of generated content.

Intellectual Property

Our Property

Acorn Mobile, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Elegant Intelligence LLC. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create using Acorn Mobile. We claim no rights to your conversations, documents, or generated outputs.

AI Model Providers

The cloud AI models are provided by our trusted third party providers. Use of cloud features is subject to their terms of service regarding model outputs.

Third-Party Service

**Apple App Store**

Handles all payment processing. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

**Android

Handles all payment processing. Subject to Google’s privacy policy

**Mistral AI**

Processes cloud AI requests for Acorn Loop subscribers. Mistral AI is a European company subject to GDPR. Their API processes requests without storing conversation content. We selected Mistral specifically because of their commitment to privacy and their European data protection standards.

Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to our service. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling. Key points:

- Local AI conversations never leave your device

- Cloud AI conversations are processed without retention

- We do not sell or share your data

- We NEVER train AI on your conversations

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACORN MOBILE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ACORN MOBILE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR ACORN LOOP SUBSCRIPTIONS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ACORN MOBILE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF AI OUTPUTS.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Acorn Mobile from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Acorn Mobile, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Acorn Mobile at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or our business.

Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Acorn Mobile after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Elegant Intelligence LLC regarding Acorn Mobile.
